Beginning September 1, 2022, the Arizona Board of Podiatry Examiners is required by statute to require fingerprint clearance cards for initial applications and renewal applications. In order for the Board to accept a copy of a fingerprint clearance card, agency approval must first be granted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Until such time that the Board has been granted FBI approval, a licensee/applicant must attest that they possess a valid fingerprint clearance card.

At this time, the Board has no additional information to provide relative to the delayed approval by the FBI.
