Board Actions

The conduct described in the Findings of Fact constitute grounds for disciplinary action pursuant to A.R.S. §§ 32-852 and 32-852.01 and violates the provisions of A.R.S. § 32-854.01(11) which states, “Failing or refusing to maintain adequate records on a patient for at least seven years or failing or refusing to make the records available to a physician or another podiatrist within twenty-one days after request and receipt of proper authorization.”

Under the Consent Agreement, Dr. Peterson was placed on Probation for a period of no less than two (2) years from the effective date of the Order, during which time Dr. Peterson would have been subject to a monthly random chart audit by the Board.  On October 23, 2018, Dr. Peterson contacted the Board to seek review and modification of this term in the Order.  Dr. Peterson will return to the practice of podiatry in March 2019, the period of Probation shall resume. 

Board issued a non-disciplinary Order for Continuing Education on August 10, 2022.

The conduct described in the Findings of Fact constitute grounds for disciplinary action pursuant to A.R.S. §§ 32-852 and 32-852.01 and violates the provisions of A.R.S. § 32-854.01(20) which states, “Any conduct or practice that is or might be harmful or dangerous to the health of the patient.”

The conduct described in the Findings of Fact constitute grounds for disciplinary action pursuant to A.R.S. §§ 32-852 and 32-852.01 and violates the provisions of A.R.S. § 32-854.01(21) which states, “Violating any formal order, probation or stipulation issued by the board pursuant to this chapter.”
