"Regulation Rollback" is a strategic step in our state’s ongoing work to make Arizona the best state in the nation for businesses and consumers alike. Please follow this link to learn more about it and make recommendations.

Pursuant to A.R.S. § 41-1033, any person may file a petition with the Governor's Regulatory Review Council for review of a final rule based on the person's belief that the final rule does not meet the requirements of A.R.S. § 41-1030. A person may also petition the Governor's Regulatory Review Council to request review of an existing agency practice, substantive policy statement, final rule or regulatory requirement that is not specifically authorized by statute pursuant to title 32 based on the person's belief that the existing agency practice, substantive policy statement, final rule or regulatory licensing requirement is unduly burdensome or is not demonstrated to specifically fulfill a public health, safety or welfare concern

Pursuant to A.R.S. § 25-320(P), disclosure of your social security account number to this agency is required. The Arizona State Board of Podiatry Examiners' ("Board") request for social security numbers of the Board's applicants and licensees are for the purposes of identification and for carrying out the Board's statutory obligations. Your social security number will not be released to the general public. However, your social security number may be released to any authorized person pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 405(c)(2)(C)(viii)(III). The Board may also use your social security number as a confidential identifier when inquiring about your education, background or fitness to practice. (An example of this type of use would be to request information from the National Practitioner’s Data Bank).
